The 2025/2026 NFL Football season marks the 40th anniversary of the historic Patriots 1985 season. That year, the Patriots became the first NFL team to win three on-the-road playoff games (garnering them the nickname of “The Road Warriors”) all which led to the Patriots first ever Super Bowl appearance against the Bears. While the Super Bowl itself did not end well for the Patriots, the journey of these first Road Warriors helped pave the way for the future success of the franchise.
This exhibit pays homage to those who came before and explores how this little team made it all the way to Super Bowl XX.
