As the 2019 year begins, The Hall’s calendar is filling up quickly!
We are happy to bring back many of our main events for Hall visitors and members again this year. As always, we aim to provide a fun and engaging visit for everyone in your group.
Introducing Patriots Hall of Fame Bobbleheads
This year The Hall will host a terrific, unique giveaway! Patriots Hall of Fame Bobbleheads will be given out with full-priced adult admission ($10). The first 1,200 weekend visitors each month starting in March and ending in June will receive a free bobblehead with their $10 admission purchase. The giveaway will only take place on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and feature a different player each month. The bobbleheads will include the following Patriots Hall of Famers in their red induction jackets – Tedy Bruschi, Andre Tippett, Steve Nelson, and Ty Law. These bobbleheads are expected to be a hit with Patriots fans so plan your visits now and show up early!
Improving Your Visit To The Hall With QR Codes
Additional content has been added to The Hall and is at your finger tips. We have displayed several QR Codes around the building to provided guests the opportunity to receive more exclusive content. Never before seen videos, stories, and audio from Patriots history is just seconds away. To activate a QR Code, open your camera on any smart phone (iPhone or Android) hold the camera over the square and you will receive the option to access the content via the Patriots App. This improvement is aimed to enhance the guests experience and provide additional information on exhibits, artifacts or players.
The Hall is a must visit during school vacation weeks. Hosting a variety of entertaining shows, giveaways, autographs and much more during the weeks the kids are out of school. Be sure to make The Hall a part of your February and April school vacation plans.
As a part of our education program and STEM initiatives, The Hall hosts field trips every day during the school year that allow the children to participate in a STEM education module as well as tour the museum and, if available, visit the edge of the Gillette Stadium game field. In late June, we are planning to host our annual Field Day with Dad event. Guests can take to the home field of their five-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. We will offer several photo opportunities, activities, and include visits from Pat Patriot, the Patriots Cheerleaders and Patriots alumni.
The Hall will once again celebrate summer by having something special for our guests each day in July. Our 31 Days of July program has been a huge success in the past. We have hosted Patriots Alumni autograph signings, Magic shows, balloon artists, tailgate parties and hot dogs – yes, hot dogs. Everyday is something new and special at The Hall in July.
Before you know it, training camp will return to Gillette Stadium and the Patriots will kick off the 2019 football season. The Hall will host its annual Hall of Fame induction event. Finalists for induction are selected by The Hall of Fame committee in April and you, the fans, will select the 2019 inductee through online voting at www.patriots.com.
2019 is an exciting year for the Patriots and the NFL. It will be the team’s 60th season and the NFL’s 100th season. It also marks the 15th anniversary of the Patriots back-to-back World Championships in 2003 and 2004. Stay tuned for some potential celebrations and events.
