Hall of Fame Committee Update

The Patriots Hall of Fame committee, which is responsible for naming three worthy red jacket finalists, met virtually again this year for their annual committee meeting. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s meeting was not to name three finalists for the ballot but to simply catch up as 2020 inductee Richard Seymour awaits his moment in the spotlight.

It has been made official to the committee that The Hall will not have an additional 2021 player or head coach inductee. This year’s ceremony will celebrate Seymour’s Patriots Hall of Fame career. This will be the first year since 2007 that there will not be a new player inducted.

Seymour’s induction will be this fall at a date to be determined.
