Changing Exhibit: Patriots Gold

The Hall features a temporary exhibit gallery that changes every two years to help ensure a fresh experience each time a guest returns. The Hall is currently featuring The Patriots Gold exhibit, which looks at how more than 25,000 players have donned a professional football uniform, but fewer than 400 have a bust sitting in Canton, Ohio’s Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In New England, around 1,500 players have played at least one regular season game for the Patriots, yet when this exhibit launched in the summer of 2025, only 11 had been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. John Hannah was the first in 1991, he and Andre Tippett remain the only two inductees that spent their entire careers as Patriots. Five other Patriots Hall of Famers, with their sharp red jackets, also own gold – Nick Buoniconti, Mike Haynes, Ty Law, Bill Parcells, and Richard Seymour.

Four other Pro Football Hall of Famers spent at least a season with the Patriots: Curtis Martin (3), Randy Moss (3+), Darrelle Revis (1) and Junior Seau (4).

This exhibit honors these 11 Patriots while also examining the selection process and who might be the next Patriots player, coach, or contributor to get the Pro Football Hall call.
