Our 30th wedding anniversary was April of 2019. Unbeknownst to me, my husband planned a trip to Bermuda where we had honeymooned so many years ago. He had everything planned… and then the Patriots kept winning. First, their win over Buffalo clinching the AFC East. Then their rivals began to fall, Chargers, Chiefs – a nailbiter of a game until the Pats got moving. Then all of a sudden we are in our living room in Milwaukee, Wis., screaming at the TV realizing that once again the Pats were going to the Super Bowl again. That’s when the politicking began. As I kept a watchful eye on ticket prices on a variety of sites, I shared with my husband all the reasons why we needed to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in Atlanta, Georgia. As always my husband easily acquiesced!!! The Patriots went on to win Super Bowl LIII over the Rams for their sixth World Championship.
