My college room mate and myself actually took the Patriots championship flag off of the flagpole on Dec. 7, 1964. The original that someone took it on Nov. 6, 1964 is an untrue story. I have pictures to prove my story. The game was against Buffalo and a severe snowstorm blanketed the area with over a foot of snow. Bulldozers had to be used to clear the field and the game was delayed for over an hour.
On my previous post, I mentioned that I and a college buddy took the 1963 Patriots championship flag on dec.7, 1964. I located the picture and the date written on it is Dec. 20, 1964.
