Amazing Drive Home by Derrick Lewis

My favorite memory was when me (on the left) and my best friend Jay got last minute tickets to the 2011 AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium on January 22, 2012. We drove 5 hours to see this game. One of the best defensive games I’ve ever seen. The Ravens were driving down the field and the WR dropped the pass in the end zone. Billy Cundiff was going to attempt a 32 yard FG to tie the game and send it into overtime. It was on our side of the field so at first we were sure if it went through but when I saw Vince Wilfork raise his arms in the air and the roar of the crowd happening we knew that he missed it.

We screamed and high fived our fellow Patriots fans and took this selfie and yelled “WE’RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!” That was an amazing drive home. I love my team. GO PATS!!!!!
